BHEF Launches 1:1 Mobile Learning Directed Giving Campaign

As part of the 2014-15 Annual Appeal, the BHEF has launched a directed giving campaign to raise $80,000 for a 1:1 Mobile Learning Pilot Grant to fund Chromebook laptops for the entire sixth grade. This grant will provide every student with a laptop to be used throughout the school day to access cloud-based learning opportunities made possible by previous BHEF grants including the Fast Path in 2012 and Cloud-based Computing in 2013. If successful, this 1:1 Mobile Learning grant lays the foundation for additional 1:1 initiatives throughout the District. For more information, 1:1 Mobile Learning FAQ's or view the 2014 BHEF Annual Report below.

Families have a choice to support the 1:1 Mobile Learning Directed Giving Campaign and/or the BHEF General Fund which supports grants that benefit every student in every school, every day. Recent grants funded by the General Fund include the Maker’s Club at Coman Hill, the Wampus Peaceful Playground, and the 3D Printer at BHHS.
